This training event will introduce participants to open science, open access and open data. The concept of openness is inevitable to science practice both from national and international research policy and practice.

To some research projects openness is an obvious advantage and a welcomed challenge. To other projects data security and data protection is what matters.

The seminar will address the issue of open science and open data from mutual perspectives – from EU, research, research support service and legislation.

The training event is aimed at researchers, research support service staff and research management.
