On Friday, the 25th of September, 2015, the third FOSTER event in the series 'Promoting Open Science among Young Researchers: Challenges and Opportunities' will be held at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius.

FOSTER discussion ‘Open Access in Lithuania: ‘Open access in Lithuania: aims and challenges’ (in Lithuanian) is streamed at the annual international conference Social Innovations: Theoretical and Practical Insights (SOCIN).
The discussion will focus on the following questions:

  • The areas of Open Access: research publications, research data and research infrastructures (soft and hard). What is more important?
  • Green, gold or hybrid Open Access to publications. Which way do we choose?
  • OpenAIRE2020: FP7 post-grant Open Access publishing funds pilot.
  • What do we need to be willing to share our research data?
