The 5th LEARN workshop on Research Data Management, “Shaping and aligning research data management policies”, is the last of five international workshops within the EU-funded project, LEARN (Leaders Activating Research Networks). It will take place at the University of Barcelona the 26th of January.

The morning session will be devoted to lectures by keynote speakers and the afternoon session will consist of three breakout groups, where best practices and case studies will be presented and discussed.

LEARN Workshops are designed to encourage all stakeholders – research funders, organisations and decision makers, researchers, library and IT staff – to explore their roles and responsibilities in the process of developing policies for Research Data Management. The workshop in Barcelona will present the work carried out by the project and will provide a forum for discussion and exchange of advice, ideas and views in the shaping and effective implementation of the RDM policy model.
