Liise Lehtsalu

Bio

I am passionate about research and making research relevant to the society. Since 2015, I have worked as a research support officer in Eurac Research in Bolzano, Italy. My work focuses primarily on issues related to research data management, open access, as well as research ethics and integrity in funding proposals but also in funded projects. In addition, I organize regular information-sharing and trainings sessions and have become involved in policy work. I steer two in-house working groups in Eurac Research, one on institutional open access policy and its implementation and the other on institutional research data management policy and guidelines development and implementation. I earned my PhD in History from Brown University in 2017 and I am currently working towards a MA in Library and Information Services Management in University of Sheffield.
