The event will include detailed information with discussion on how to win the research grants with the Open Science principles included in projects, as well as an introduction about the research data management topics.

Speakers:

Gita Rozenberga, representative of National Open Access Desk in Latvia will give insight about sharing research data and open access to publications in Horizon 2020. Key Speakers

Sarah Jones, a researcher at the University of Glasgow and Associate Director at the Digital Curation Centre (DCC) will give an online presentation about Research Data Management Plans, and how to meet Horizon 2020 requirements.

Ivo Grigorov, research coordinator at the National Institute of Aquatic Resources at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU AQUA), will share his experience in integrating Open Science in research grants formulation & design. At the end of the practical seminar Ivo Grigorov kindly invites Horizon 2020 applicants to individual consultations about the specific questions regarding the research projects.

HOW WILL THE CONSULTATIONS PROCEED?
(1) Register for an individual consultation
(2) Be ready to present the full range of research outputs of your proposed idea in 3 min (no slides!!!)
(3) We spend the rest 27 min looking for specific solutions. We wont be able to fix everything, but hopefully you can get a start.

a) Open Science as part of state of the art reproducible methodology
b) Open Science & Science Literacy as tools for #RRI, outreach and IMPACT
c) Open Science as a Knowledge Management and Knowledge Transfer strategy.
