The University of Latvia Science Department, the Library of the University of Latvia and the OpenAIRE NOAD in  Latvia are organizing a workshop “Research infrastructure – Zenodo: international, multidisciplinary, free” for the scientific community of Latvia. It will take place on November 21st, 2019 at the University of Latvia, House of Sciences at 3 Jelgavas Street, Room 201 (University of Latvia campus).

Target audience of this workshop is staff of higher education institutions of Latvia and scientific institutes, researchers, PhD students, research project managers and coordinators, research policy administrative personnel, local repository managers, information specialists and librarians.  

Tim Smith from CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) will present the Zenodo repository,  talk about its benefits and how to use it, as well as on the interoperability of Zenodo with other infrastructures. As it is the first time a  CERN representative visits Latvia, the speaker is invited to give a short introduction on CERN open science research as well.
