On June 4th, VLIR (the Flemish Interuniversity Council) will organize a Foster workshop in Brussels with the title “Embracing data management, bridging the gap between theory and practice”.

This workshop on open science and research data management aims to train young researchers and their supervisors in the current practices of open science and data management and is meant to be an inspirational day for them. Practical topics will be addressed such as copyright, data management planning, dealing with repositories, etc.
