Infectious disease epidemiology: slowly moving towards open science

In infectious disease epidemiology, collecting data is often practically hard, time consuming and expensive. It is therefore that in the past people working in this research area have been hesitant to share their data as well as software code. This seems at odds with the drive towards open science which is gaining importance in almost all research domains. In this presentation bad and good practices using various examples within this research domain will be presented.
