What does EC’s Open Science Agenda have to do with #BlueGrowth and the #BlueEconomy? Can we integrate more targetted Knowledge Exchange in Marine Research projects? Should "Ocean Literacy" be part of every research project to optimise enagement?

Marine Research is relevant across Societal Challenges and UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 (zero hunger), 7 (clean energy), 13 (climate mitigation) and 14 (life under water), but research excellence alone sufficient to achieve optimal societal impact, and deliver solution to societal challenges in the fastest and most optimal way?

The informal discussion will address additional skills marine researcher need for securing grant proposals and optimising societal impact, as well as being prepared for a more diverse set of indicators that will define future research career evaluations. Content will be based on recent version of the slides below:
