Salima Rehemtula

Bio

Salima Rehemtula is the Head of Impact Department at Innovation, Research & Impact Strategy Office (IRIS), NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University of Lisbon. She is responsible for the local administration of the NOVA`s Current Research Information System – Pure and the bibliometric platform - Scival. She supports the scientific community in the implementation of strategies for the visibility and impact of research carried out at FCT NOVA and elaborates bibliometric studies to support decision making. Salima collaborates with the Rectorate through participation in the CRIS-NOVA working group, with the aim of introducing improvements to the ecosystem of scientific information management platforms at the University, namely, the integration between Pure and the NOVA Institutional Repository (RUN). She also monitors the compliance with Open Access mandates for EC and FCT-MCTES funded projects in collaboration with the Documentation and Culture Division.
Salima has over ten years of experience in her areas of expertise and actively participates in local, national and international working groups.
Salima holds a degree in Applied Chemistry (field of Biotechnology) and a postgraduation in Library and Information Sciences. Currently she is doing her PhD in Library and Information Sciences (Bibliometrics).
