Katarzyna Biernacka

Bio

I hold a Diploma degree in Computer Science. My strong interest in digital tools and the new forms of learning shaped my research interest. Since June 2016 I have been doing research in the field of mobile information and communication technologies in teaching using the example of Latin America and since Februar 2019 I'm doing my PhD at the Institute of Computer Science of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in the field of "Publication of Research Data - Research Integrity - Data Protection".

Previously, for the last two years, I was the project coordinator of the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) funded project “FDMentor” where five universities from Berlin and Brandenburg (Germany) are working together to create strategies, roadmaps, guidelines and open access material for an exceptional research data management infrastructure. Together with my colleagues from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin, I was in charge of developing the Train-the-Trainer programme for Research Data Management which can be found on zenodo.
