Katerina Lenaki

Bio

Katerina studied Sociology at the University of Crete and Public Administration at the University of Nicosia (MPA).

She has worked in European research programs related to sustainable development and many years at the Reference and User Instruction Services of the University of Crete Library for Science and Medicine. While in the Library, she organized, designed and offered library seminars, produced guides and publicity material, participated in the development of academic web services such as Zephyr and Livesearch and the  implementation of projects related to digital academic content.

She currently works at the Directorate General for Higher Education of the Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, in Athens.

Katerina has been a strong supporter of open philosophy for more than 10 years and was certified as an open data trainer by the Open Data Institute in 2015. She likes to write, translate and give presentations related to open science and would be excited to contribute to its deployment in Greece.
